About Me

I've always loved to paint and create ‘things’, so much so I decided to study Textile Design at Huddersfield University, leaving with a BSc(hons) degree.

Alongside my career in Design and Marketing (10+ years), I continued to create fun artworks and crafts for friends and family and their children.

I set up The Kids Art Studio so I could focus on my passion and offer hand painted, original and funky art for children’s rooms - something different to that available on the high street.

About the Art

My designs are all original and hand painted. I use good quality canvasses and a mix of acrylic paint and collage materials. All canvasses are gallery style, stretched canvas with hidden staples. I paint all sides of the canvas to enhance the finished look and once created the canvasses are then varnished to protect from light and dust.
